How HydraPay works, and how we get paid
You're trusting us with your statements and your payments. Here's exactly what we do, what we earn, and what we never do.
The short version
Payroc processes your payments. HydraPay is Payroc's authorized agent: we review your statement, set up your account, and support you after. Payroc pays us a share of the revenue from your account. There's no separate HydraPay fee, and the statement review is free whether you switch or not.

Our share comes out of the pricing in your merchant agreement. It's not an extra line on your statement. That's also why we have every reason to keep you happy: we only earn while you're processing with us.
2. What we never do
On pricing
- Hide fees in fine print
- Raise your rates without written notice
- Charge for the statement review
On your data
- Ask for SSNs or bank numbers by text, email, or our website
- Sell your information
- Use your statement for anything except your review
3. How we handle your statement
- Who sees it: only HydraPay staff working on your review.
- Where it's kept: in a restricted business folder, not on personal devices.
- How long: if you don't become a customer, we delete it within 12 months, or sooner if you ask.
- Sensitive details: Social Security numbers, dates of birth, and bank account numbers go only through Payroc's secure application, never through us by text or email.

4. Who does what
- Payroc approves your account, processes every payment, deposits funds to your bank, and runs the payment technology. Payroc works with sponsor banks, as all payment processors do.
- HydraPay reviews your statement, recommends a pricing program, prepares your application, sets up your equipment or software, and is your first call for questions.
